Jackson Hise kicks off 2024 season at World of Outlaws Sunshine Nationals
Jackson Hise opened up his 2024 season on Friday afternoon with a trip to Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals opener after Thursday's event fell to heavy rain storms.
In a stacked field of 56 World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series entries, Jackson struggled in qualifying before finishing ninth in his heat race. Being relegated to a B-Main, Hise moved forward four positions but was unable to make the A-Main field.
Recording a better lap in qualifying on Saturday, Hise was once again pushed to a Last Chance Showdown where he would record a seventh-place outing.
