Jackson Hise takes on NASCAR weekend at Talladega Short Track

Continuing his chase for Rookie of the Year with the Series, Jackson Hise made the trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series-sanctioned Red Farmer Tribute.

Hise raced his way into Friday's $5,038-to-win, but was caught up in a lap one incident that ended his night.

With $15,097 on the line on Saturday, Jackson finished 17th in the 50-lap feature.

Hise still leads the Rookie of the Year standings with the series.
