Jackson Hise nails down Top-10 finish with Southern Thunder at Screven Motor Speedway
Joining the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series in their first-ever weekend of competition, Jackson Hise rolled into Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of Winter Freeze XV.
With a strong 35-car field on hand, Jackson transferred to the $5,000-to-win opener with the last spot in his Last Chance Race. Hise stayed out of trouble during the 40-lap feature and snuck into the Top-10 with a 23rd-to-9th charge.
On Saturday, Hise suffered a nasty wreck during his heat race which ended his weekend early.
