Jackson Hise joins Summer Nationals Hell Tour; Top-10 outing at Peoria Speedway

Jackson Hise started off his summer with the Hell Tour on Tuesday afternoon at Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring as he joined 44 DIRTcar Summer Nationals entries in the Land of Lincoln for the $5,000-to-win season opener.

Hise grabbed the final A-Main transfer spot in his heat race and made up four spots in the 30-lapper to finish 12th. Jackson missed the following night's show at Kankakee (Ill.) County Speedway, but made up for it on Thursday night as he charged from seventh-to-third in his heat and 12th-to-9th in the feature event to score a Top-10 finish.

Losing Friday's show at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) to rain, Hise finished out the first week with visits to Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday and Sycamore (Ill.) Speedway on Sunday where he did not make either main event.
