Top-10 finish at Eldora Speedway in Baltes Classic for Jackson Hise
Leaving for the Midwest a week before the World 100, Jackson Hise joined the MARS Late Model Championship Series for two days at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday and Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday.
Hise raced his way into the $5,000-to-win opener and finished 17th in the 40-lap feature. With $10,000 on the line Saturday night, Jackson fell back in his last chance showdown which prevented him from making the A-Main.
The 388 team then went to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Sunday evening for the American Late Model Iron-Man Series-sanctioned Baltes Classic.
Finishing fourth in a heat race, Hise started from the fifth-row in the second 25-lap, $5,000-to-win feature and drove to a Top-10 finish in ninth.
