Hise eighth in Jerry Goodwin Challenge during NASCAR weekend at Talladega Short Track
On Friday afternoon, Jackson Hise followed the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) to kick off NASCAR weekend.
Among a solid 35-car field, Hise qualified seventh-fastest in his group and then picked up a B-Main win which put him in the $5,038-to-win opener. Jackson made up four spots in the 40-lap feature and scored a Top-10 finish in the Jerry Goodwin Challenge.
With $10,097 on the line Saturday night, Jackson grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race and then ran 12th in the 50-lap weekend finale.
