Jackson Hise opens up 2026 season with Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park

Joining the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for their opening weekend, Jackson Hise also kicked off his 2026 race season at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for the three-day Sunshine Nationals.

With a strong 44-car field on hand, Hise just barely missed the $10,000-to-win features on Thursday and Friday, finishing ninth and fifth in his last chance showdowns. With $20,000 on the line Saturday night, Jackson finished sixth in his heat race and was unable to find a transfer spot in his B-Main.
