Jackson Hise races to 13th in Southbound Throwdown finale with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
With the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in his home state of Florida, Jackson Hise made the quick trip to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the $5,000-to-win Southbound Throwdown opener.
With 34 Late Models on site, Hise was an early retiree in the 30-lap opener and recorded a 25th-place finish.
Finding more speed on Saturday night, Jackson finished third in his heat race which earned him a fifth-row starting spot in the $15,000-to-win finale. With the track locking down early, Hise fell back to 13th when the checkered flag flew.
Jackson is currently 14th in series points and first in Rookie of the Year standings.
